02Requirements

What you need to connect Deye

We need access to the plant in Deye Cloud with control rights – a monitoring-only account isn’t enough. If your installer registered the plant, we’ll help you agree with them on what access to grant. Older installations are sometimes still on Solarman – let us know if that’s your case.

  • Your Deye inverters registered in Deye Cloud and sending data
  • Access to the plant in Deye Cloud with control rights – view-only isn’t enough
  • A working internet connection at the plant
  • The minimum price below which you don’t want to sell
  • Your trader’s contact details, if you want schedules sent straight to them

Not needed: new hardware, a site visit or replacing your inverters.

    Sign up for 14 days free, no card required, and tell us your plant runs on Deye.

  2. Grant access in Deye Cloud

    Follow the short instructions for Deye Cloud. If the account belongs to your installer, we’ll help you sort it out with them.

  3. Check and go live

    We confirm the inverters are visible and accept commands, you set your minimum price, and the automation takes over.

My plant shows up in Solarman, not Deye Cloud. Is that a problem?
Not necessarily. Deye moved the deyecloud.com web platform and the Deye Cloud app from Solarman’s data centre to its own, but some older installations are still monitored through Solarman. Tell us which platform you use and we’ll check whether access through it is enough for control.
Do I need to buy a new logger or another device?
No. TokPirate needs no extra hardware. Your plant just has to send data to Deye Cloud through the communication device that’s already installed. If the data isn’t showing in Deye Cloud, that link needs fixing first.
Is curtailment safe for my Deye inverters?
Yes. We use the manufacturer’s standard power-limiting function – the same one you could set by hand in Deye Cloud. Output is reduced smoothly rather than switching the inverters off abruptly.
How much does TokPirate cost for a plant with Deye inverters?
Pricing depends on the number of inverters, not the brand: Start (up to 5 inverters) at €19/month, Pro (up to 25 inverters) at €69/month and Business (up to 100 inverters) at €199/month – or €15, €52 and €149 a month billed annually. Custom (over 100 inverters) is priced on request. Prices exclude VAT, and the first 14 days are free, no card required. See pricing.
